Terms and Conditions.

Definitions
1. “The Venue” means Le Grand Banc, including where applicable its employees, agents or subcontractors.
2. “the Client” or “You” means the individual(s) or business for whom the Contract is prepared, and the Services are provided.
3. “the Contract” means the agreement between Le Grand Banc and the Client to perform the Services as set out in the Contract and all associated documents from Le Grand Banc setting out the services offered by Le Grand Banc to the Client in regard to the Wedding or the Event.
4. “the Date” means the date of the Wedding or Event set out in the Contract.
5. “the Exclusive Use Fee” means the price charged for any items in the fee breakdown.
6. “the Fee” means the price charged for the Exclusive Use Fee.
7. “the Services” means the services to be provided under the Contract, including the deliverables and hire of Le Grand Banc.
8. ”the Wedding” or “the Event” means the occasion and period during which Le Grand Banc will provide services as set out in the Contract.
Scope of Contract
1. The Contract shall be entered into when the Client gives written acceptance of the contents of the Contract, these Terms and Conditions & the fee breakdown. At which point, this forms an agreement between all parties to the Contract.
2. A deposit payment shall be made as set out in the Contract.
Guest Numbers
1. Le Grand Banc requires details of guest numbers for its records. The Client shall provide the final number of attendees for the event no later than 8 weeks prior to the date of the event, with the rooming list for any guests being accommodated at the event to be sent 6 weeks prior to the dates of guest arrival.
Cancellation
1. If the conditions concerning pre-payments of deposits, interim, or full payments are not upheld by the Client, Le Grand Banc reserves the right to cancel the event by informing the Client, in writing or by e-mail, to the address indicated.
2. The following cancellation terms apply, for any items listed in the Specification Document.
  1. Between execution of this agreement and 8 months from the event, the deposit & instalment 1 is non-refundable.
  2. Less than 4 months to the event: 100% of the fees are requested to cover the loss.
Your usage of Le Grand Banc
1. Le Grand Banc grants a license, further to the terms of this agreement, to the Client to use the premises, including all bedrooms, the wedding spaces, gardens and outdoor pool. The contract does not apply to the entire hamlet, there will be privatised areas (eg the on-site Managers House) and this is to be respected by all staying on site.
2. Your rental (agreed to in these Terms and Conditions and the Contract) will commence from 14.00 on the date agreed in the Contract.
3. The capacity of your event must not exceed 100 guests on site at any time during the booking.
Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability
1. Le Grand Banc shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to personal property of the client. In the case of loss or damage to personal property, it must be reported and noted by the property owner at the time of discovery there of and reported to the police within 24 hours for larger thefts.
2. The Client shall indemnify Le Grand Banc from any loss or damage caused to any part of the property, or to any fixtures and/or equipment in the situation, which may arise, because of the special event or property introduced to the property by the Client or any such persons.
3. We do not hold any responsibility for reasons as to why the wedding/event cannot go ahead, such as natural disasters, air strikes or activity out of our control such as terrorism or Covid-19 or similar. The Client is advised to take out additional wedding/event insurance.
Taxes
1. The agreed prices in your quote include all taxes.
2. Clients and/or their guests are responsible for the payment of the local visitor tax. This must be done at the venue prior to departure or deducted from the security deposit – whichever is agreed.
